This is my girl. cute as a button and sharp as a tack. She's stuck on a Viking kick which is fine with me. She is comfortable and cute.

I won!!!!  Dancing Needle held a contest and I won!!    So excited... new patterns from Sublime Stitching and a purple hoop.    can't wait!!!  I love to embroider.. it's one thing that I can do that doesn't really hurt my hand.  I have plans on working on my veil more and when I get my arms passed, my squirrel.  

See... old art forms aren't dead... they are just update!

Ice Dragon came and went

I don't have much to post on Ice Dragon. I got there late due to a family commitment. Some of my scrolls got given, one was not. A dear friend is now a Lady (hehehehehhehehe) and I ran 3 flights of stairs like 10 times.

Next year, I am not volunteering at all... nothing. I am sitting and enjoying the day. And maybe entering the Pent.

But thats next year. For now, enjoy my scrolls.

Masked ball is 2 weeks away. Dress is not started but the mask is 90% done.

I'm taking a small break from life so scroll work is on hold. Time to get life in order.

The top one is mine.. the bottom the original. Not bad if I say so my self. I only used the light board for the base figures. I have a hard time with human form but all the shading and detail is free hand. For once, I'm proud of it. I think I'll do another one. There is a series of images in the fighting manual that would work well for scrolls.

Lady?

Yep - it is official. I am now a Lady. This was done at Brass Ring Thing. Ok, time to start acting like one I suppose.

Belted

I finally have to answer to someone :)
Mistress Gillian took me as her Protege. The belting was done at Ice Dragon - March 28 2009.

It was a small ceremony off to the side. I didn't want a big thing in court. Not my thing.

some scroll work

I have been neglecting posting my work. Here is one from February. An AOA. Its a simple design but effective. I was proud of this one and the King at the time was pleased as well.
